Expeditors, a global logistics and freight forwarding company, reached out to us for a fit-out for their new premises in Jandakot, Western Australia. The scope included complete interior construction, mechanical and electrical upgrades, new joinery and finishes, and the installation of modern office furniture and branding elements. The fit-out was delivered based on Expeditors’ requirements, backed by Chest Constructions’ 30 years of experience in commercial office builds.
The company is relocating from Welshpool due to an expiring lease. The move had to be completed quickly, with only eight weeks to vacate their current premises and set up operations in a new location. The timeline was tight, and the manager required a fully functional fit-out within this period, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations.
In addition to the fit-out, we refurbished their old premises to prepare them for re-leasing or “making good” for the landlord. Additional upgrades were completed for fire safety, communication infrastructure, and accessibility compliance. This comprehensive approach ensured the client was fully supported in their transition.

This wellness clinic is a provider of holistic health services, engaged us to transform a heritage building over 100 years old into a modern wellness clinic. Previously used as a union office, the building faced structural challenges, outdated interiors, and an inefficient layout that required a comprehensive renovation to suit the clinic’s needs.
The heritage building was in poor condition, with significant structural issues and outdated interiors that didn’t meet the needs of a modern wellness clinic. The challenge was to transform the space while preserving its historical character, ensuring it was functional, accessible, and welcoming for both patients and staff.
To meet these challenges, we carried out a full renovation of the building, ensuring that it was transformed into a modern, functional wellness clinic while retaining its original charm.
• Structural Repairs & Heritage Preservation: We carefully repaired and strengthened the building’s structure, ensuring it met modern standards while preserving key heritage details that contributed to its original character.
• Layout Reconfiguration: We reworked the layout to create a clear, easy flow through the space, enhancing patient and staff movement. The design included welcoming reception areas, comfortable waiting rooms, and private consultation rooms, making the clinic both functional and calming.
• Design Elements: The design incorporated warm lighting, natural materials, and soft finishes throughout, creating a serene atmosphere that aligns with the clinic’s focus on wellness.
• Safety, Accessibility & Efficiency: We upgraded access, safety, and compliance to ensure the clinic met all health and safety regulations.
The entire renovation was completed in just 14 weeks, minimising disruption and allowing the clinic to open promptly.
